Prior to creating Beauty in the Boutique, Leah studied Beauty Therapy and Spa Therapy at Gloucestershire College

over two years. Alongside college, Leah trained in eyelash extensions, created an Instagram lash account and started carrying out lash treatments on friends and family.

 

After leaving college with a Level 2 Technical Certificate in Beauty Therapy and a Level 3 Technical Diploma in Beauty and Spa therapy, Leah began her new role as a Skin Spa Therapist at Clarins. Leah continued to further her knowledge in the industry, gaining valuable experience providing treatments to the Clarins high standard.

 

From a young age, Leah suffered with eye strain and migraines, which affected her ability to concentrate at school. She had kinesiology /allergy treatment for these issues at the age of 14, which is when she discovered the power of alternative therapies. Now in 2023, Alternative therapy has become an increasingly favourable way of achieving the healing affects of medicine.

 

In April 2022, Leah left Clarins and created her own business  'Beauty in the Boutique'. Three months into being self employed, Leah enrolled in a Manual Lymphatic drainage course to study the lymphatic system in depth

and learn the techniques to perform this holistic massage.

 

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage that uses slow, rhythmic techniques to stimulate the lymphatic system. It relieves swelling that is caused by illness, medical or cosmetic treatment that congests your lymphatic system.

 

At Beauty in the Boutique, Leah aims to provide a high quality service and client care across the beauty and holistic treatments. Creating a space for relaxation and making every person feel good from the inside out.
